# IP Whitelisting

If you configure your account with IP Whitelisting, only the IP addresses you provided can make requests our API, and all the other request traffic will be blocked. Apart from the [Access Tokens,](/for-developers/access-and-refresh-tokens.md) this will create an additional layer of security for accessing and controlling your account through API.
